Half Banded Spiny eel (Gnarp)
The Half Banded Spiny eel (macrognathus circumcinctus), sometimes nicknamed the gnarp is a very pretty eel. In the wild they are seen in lakes across Africa and Asia, they have a very fun personality and are known to be noodling around in the plants, watching the other fish, snuffling for food and sleeping under substrate or other decor. They are usually not referred to as their common name and have the ability to make noises to communicate with one another.
